You know, the thing about SQL is, that there is virtually nothing that can replace it.

Does anyone know if a substitute exists for sql? I mean besides MS SQL and Oracle and all that jazz. Thanks.

Hi When iam connecting to The DB2 Server from a Testing Tool Quick TEst Professional iam getting the error as :
[IBM][CLI Driver] SQL1042C An unexpected system error occurred. SQLSTATE=58004

But when i tried this writing in a vbs file it’s working fine for me.It can able to connect to the DB2..

The code Which i used is:
set objResourceDictionary=CreateObject(”Scripting.Dictionary”)
Set objConnection = CreateObject(”ADODB.Connection”)
Set objCommand = CreateObject(”ADODB.Command”)
Set objRecordset = CreateObject(”ADODB.Recordset”)

strConnection_IBM =”Driver={IBM DB2 ODBC DRIVER};Database=xxxxxxxxxx;Hostname=xx.xx.xx.xx;Port=50000;Protocol=TCPIP;Uid=xxxxxxxxxr;Pwd=xxxxx;”

Please help me why is this error coming…..
